With the deep sense & gratitude, I would like to pay humble tributes to late Shri Manoharbhai Patel, a great visionary, philanthropist and educationist, who laid the foundation stone of Gondia Education Society to shower the golden lamp of education at the doorstep of the poor & backward people of the region. This holy mission with passion continues to grow rapidly under the dynamic leadership of our chief Patron, Hon’ble Shri Praful Patel, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Govt. of India and Hon’ble Smt. With multi faculty educational options from higher secondary to postgraduate studies, Seth Narsingdas Mor College of Arts, Commerce & Smt. G. D. Saraf Science College, Tumsar run by Gondia Education Society, Gondia was established in the year 1965 and nurtured by late Shri Ramnarayanji Mor in respect to his father Hon'ble late Shri. Narsingdasji Mor which was continued by the Chairman of the local managing committee, Hon'ble Shri Rajendra H. Jain, MLC.
I fill proud to say that, this Institute has completed its 50 Glorious Year & Has successfully established the great destination for quality & need based basic education and is benchmarked against the best. Our Institution simultaneously runs after the rank amongst top ten, with the eye of fine tuned academic skills, the aesthetic senses and we are working toward building a holistic culture that values the individuality of each student, helping them to realize their innate potential.
